In the Urals, we bring up children together: Coloring pages "From Mozambique to Yamal" stimulate the creativity of a child.
The coloring book project "From Mozambique to Yamal" offers a unique opportunity for children from different parts of the world to explore each other’s culture and nature through art. This project not only develops creative skills but also fosters love and respect for the natural and cultural diversity of our planet.
Since 2017, with the support of volunteers from PPO "Editorial Board of the Volunteer Movement AFORUM.RF", early professional orientation projects have been successfully implemented for children in the Tyumen region. One of the most notable results was the organization of children's drawing contests and the creation of coloring books for young children, from 1.5 years old to elementary school students.
The "From Mozambique to Yamal" coloring books were first introduced at the "Russia-Africa" Summit in Sochi in 2019, where they became an important symbol of cultural dialogue between Russia and Africa. The coloring books are based on the creative works of children from Yamal and students of the School at the Russian Embassy in Mozambique.
In 2023, at the Second "Russia-Africa" Summit in Saint Petersburg, the coloring books again captured attention, highlighting the importance of intercultural cooperation and promoting sustainable development through creative education.
The importance of these coloring books is demonstrated by their participation in international events such as the "Russia-Africa" Summit. Since 2019, these coloring books have become a symbol of cultural exchange between Russia and African countries, showing how creativity can unite children across continents.
At the second summit in 2023, the coloring books again became part of the cultural program, underscoring the need to involve children in nature conservation and the exchange of cultural values.
Coloring books help children not only develop artistic skills but also deepen their understanding of the world around them. The "From Mozambique to Yamal" project emphasizes the need to foster respect for nature and the cultural traditions of other peoples.
