A child's view of the Cultural heritage of the peoples of Africa and Russia
Tradition of Dolls Unites These Two Peoples
Dolls have always played an important role in the culture and traditions of many peoples. In Africa, dolls symbolize spiritual and cultural heritage; they are created for various rituals and events. In Russia, dolls are also an integral part of folk traditions. These seemingly simple objects combine elements of art, creativity, and heritage. Our project aims to study and preserve this tradition through the creative work of children, who make unique dolls with their own hands, reflecting the connection between African and Russian cultures.
The Importance of the Summit for Cultural Cooperation
The 2023 Russia-Africa Summit became an important platform for developing cultural exchange between the peoples of the two continents. The summit discussed issues of cultural cooperation, exchange of traditions, and preservation of cultural heritage. One of the key projects was the creation of dolls as a symbol of mutual understanding and friendship. Russian children at this summit demonstrated their respect and understanding of African traditions through their creative process.
Creativity as a Way of Learning and Education
Dolls are not just toys; they are cultural symbols that reflect the spirit of a people. In African cultures, dolls symbolize different stages of life, from birth to adulthood, and are used in rituals and celebrations. In Russia, traditional cloth and wooden dolls also play an important role in cultural traditions. Through creating dolls, children can study and show respect for these traditions. This not only develops their creative abilities but also helps them understand the importance of cultural heritage.
Symbols of Friendship and Creativity
- Dolls Made by Russian Children: These dolls were created by Russian children with their own hands, symbolizing their contribution to the preservation of cultural heritage. Each element of the doll, from clothing to details, was made with special care and attention to traditions. Children not only created dolls but also drew them in their notebooks, turning the creative process into an important part of their education.
- The Significance of These Dolls: These dolls represent a symbol of cultural exchange. Through them, children learn to understand and respect the cultural traditions of other peoples. Their participation in the project is not only about making something with their hands but also about connecting with the history and traditions of another culture, fostering respect and tolerance.
